Deal of the Year - Private Equity - PRC Firms - USD 6.8bn Sale of AirPower’s Industrial Gas Business - Setting the Record for the Largest Single Exit in China’s Private Equity History
In January 2025, JunHe, as the lead legal counsel to PAG, assisted in the USD 6.8bn sale of the controlling stake in AirPower’s industrial gas business, setting a record for the largest single exit in China’s private equity history. For the M&A part, JunHe led the entire process from negotiation, signing to closing. This included key steps such as the transaction structuring, the drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents, the coordination of the government filing procedures, and the fulfillment of the closing conditions. For the financing part, JunHe provided legal support for the restructuring and M&A loans, covering financing structuring, document negotiation, syndicate coordination, and the fulfillment of the disbursement conditions.

She is a reliable advisor for clients facing high-risk reviews and complex cases. As the former Co-Chair of IBA Antitrust Committee, her industry influence is widely recognized. This is the second time she has won this individual award from The Legal 500, successfully retaining the title since 2024.
