Francis is a partner at JunHe LLP and is based in Beijing. Francis practices in the areas of antitrust and competition law, as well as FDI review filings.

Francis has handled many high-profile and complicated merger filings, such as JX Metals’ acquisition of shares in TATSUTA (conditional approval), American Axle & Manufacturing's acquisition of Dowlais (conditional approval), GSK’s acquisition of Pfizer’s consumer healthcare business, AbbVie’s acquisition of Allergan and the merger between FCA and PSA. He also assists clients in coordinating multi-jurisdictional filing assessments. In antitrust investigations and compliance programs, Francis advises clients to defend antitrust investigations, applying for leniency or settlement, assisting clients in conducting internal compliance reviews and providing professional advice regarding antitrust legal issues. Francis also dealt with multiple antitrust litigations involving abuse of market dominance, abuse of SEP, and RPM.

Furthermore, prior to joining JunHe, Francis represented numerous domestic and international clients in litigation and non-litigation cases involving intellectual property rights and unfair competition.

Francis has assisted clients from a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, automobiles & parts, petrol chemicals, energy & resources, consumer products (food/wine/cosmetics), semi-conductors, manufacturing, internet, financing & insurance, airline, shipping, telecom, real estate and PE.
