Mr. Guo joined JunHe in 2007 and is currently based at the firm's Beijing headquarters. Prior to joining JunHe, Mr. Guo worked at a boutique law firm specializing in the telecommunications, internet, and technology industries.
Mr. Guo specializes in the areas of Foreign Investment, Corporate and M&A, Private Equity / Venture Capital, Outbound Investment, and Banking and Finance. He has extensive experience in sectors such as Technology, Internet, Telecommunications, Education, Media, Games, Clean Technology, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Consumer and Retail, Banking and Finance, Energy/Natural Resources, and Real Estate.
His clients range from global private equity and venture capital firms, sovereign wealth funds, and government industry funds to multinational corporations operating in the Telecoms, Internet, Technology, Chips, and Advanced Manufacturing sectors, as well as their investment funds and platforms. He also advises multinational corporations in the Energy/Natural Resources and Real Estate sectors, along with their investment funds. Additionally, he represents various financial institutions and their investment/holding platforms, listed companies, and emerging growth companies.
Mr. Guo has handled a wide range of transactions and projects, including leveraged and unleveraged control acquisitions, minority investments, reverse mergers/De-SPAC, private investment in public equity (PIPE), take-private transactions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, liquidations, and other cross-border and domestic transactions. He excels in transaction structuring and drafting, managing complex commercial negotiations and mediations, and providing innovative, constructive, and practical legal advice customized to address the specific needs of clients involved in complex and unique projects or novel legal matters.
