The strategic investment and acquisition of a controlling interest in Shanghai Discovery Esco by Haier COSMOPlat Energy Technology, a subsidiary of Haier Group, was recently completed. JunHe acted as the legal counsel to Haier COSMOPlat and provided comprehensive legal services throughout the acquisition.

Committed to exploring low-carbon sustainable development, the company provides major energy consumers with solutions for zero-carbon buildings, factories and industrial parks. Shanghai Discovery Esco has completed over 300 integrated energy and carbon management projects to date, helping to reduce emissions by over a million tons and serving leading clients in the semiconductor, new energy and high-end manufacturing sectors.
Through this strategic investment, Haier COSMOPlat integrates the strengths of both parties to launch a one-stop digital product solution for energy and carbon management. It covers the entire chain from planning, consulting, design and delivery, to operation, empowering the industry's green transformation and its sustainable development.
The JunHe team provided comprehensive legal services throughout the project, which included transaction structure design/feasibility analysis, due diligence, the drafting and modification of the transaction documents, negotiation and closing.
