JunHe Wins the Best Asia Law Firm for the third time at the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards (ILASA)

2026.06.23

On June 17, 2026, the Leaders League, an international professional media and rating agency, held their 2026 Alliance Summit and Awards Ceremony in Miami, USA. JunHe won the Best Asia Law Firm award for the third time. JunHe has won ILASA's Best China Law Firm (Gold) a total of eight times.

Founded in Paris in 1996, the Leaders League is renowned in the European and American legal circles for its professionalism and independence. The annual ILASA awards are recognized by the industry as the only European benchmark that can rival the legal rating systems of the UK and the US. JunHe's repeated triumph in winning the Asia award signifies the recognition of our comprehensive strength over the past year and serves as a vivid testament to the rising influence of Chinese legal power on the global stage.

From Best China Law Firm to Best Asia Law Firm, these accolades highlight the international certification of our professional prowess. Over the past year, JunHe has led in multiple core business areas such as capital markets, corporate mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, and dispute resolution. Our achievements in these areas lay a solid foundation for winning the Asia award after a series of benchmark industry projects.

In the capital markets sector, JunHe completed the largest Hong Kong IPO since 2026 and the largest IPO of a Chinese TMT enterprise since early 2022—Victory Giant Technology's dual listing on the Hong Kong Main Board A+H. In the debt capital markets, JunHe assisted Meituan in completing a USD 3 billion equivalent offshore dual-currency bond issuance, marking its largest offshore bond issuance. In the private equity sector, JunHe helped PAG acquire the majority stake in Yingde Gases, a leading industrial gas company in China, with a transaction amount of USD 6.8 billion, setting the record for the largest single exit in Chinese private equity history. In the banking and finance sector, JunHe assisted a domestic syndicate in completing the acquisition financing for Boyu Capital's purchase of Beijing SKP. In the dispute resolution sector, JunHe represented the Chinese investors in a major dispute involving a Belt and Road construction project in Sri Lanka, achieving a comprehensive victory at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration, recovering over USD 10 million in losses for the client. Behind these impressive achievements is JunHe's professional expertise across multiple fields and integrated collaboration capabilities. JunHe has also accelerated its digital transformation—systematically embedding artificial intelligence tools into core business processes such as legal research, contract review and due diligence. We have pushed service efficiency and quality to new dimensions through the deep integration of technology and expertise.

If the law is likened to the night sky, JunHe does not chase the fleeting brilliance of meteors but prefers to be the lighthouse standing for millennia—marking the safe passage for ships with its constant light amid the ebb and flow. With deep roots in China, we illuminate the near shore; deeply engaged in Asia, we shine across the seas; embracing the world, we gaze at the distant horizon. These honors leave proud marks on the lighthouse while JunHe carves a deep and steadfast trajectory for our clients amid the tumultuous tides of the era.

JunHe is the only Chinese law firm to be admitted as a member of Lex Mundi and Multilaw, two international networks of independent law firms. JunHe and selected top law firms in major European and Asian jurisdictions are “best friends.” Through these connections, we provide high quality legal services to clients doing business throughout the world.
As the first carbon neutrality fund sponsored by a law firm in China, the BAF Carbon Neutrality Special Fund was jointly established by JunHe and the Beijing Afforestation Foundation (BAF) to promote carbon neutral initiatives, and encourage social collaboration based on the public fundraising platform to mobilize engagement in public welfare campaigns.
