In Singapore on September 7, 2023, the Euromoney Legal Media Group held a gala ceremony for its Women in Business Law Awards APAC 2023. JunHe partner YI, Fang won Project Finance Lawyer of the Year and Structured Finance Lawyer of the Year, and JunHe partner ZHANG, Yinuo (Norah) won Insurance & Reinsurance Lawyer of the Year.

Ms. Yi has practiced in infrastructure and project finance, structured finance, banking and finance, and assets securitization for more than ten years. As one of the first lawyers to provide legal services for China’s public infrastructure sector, Ms. Yi maintains a leading position in this area. She has participated in various large-scale infrastructure projects both in China and overseas and has provided eminent legal services for large state-owned and private enterprises and multinational corporations. She also has extensive experience in the financing, development and construction of infrastructure and industrial projects. Ms. Yi was one of the first lawyers to provide legal services in assets securitization and has rich expertise and experience in credit assets securitization, corporate assets securitization and public infrastructure REITs.

Ms. Zhang practices in the areas of finance and insurance. She has provided professional legal services covering the whole business chain for many leading financial and investment institutions over the years and has accumulated extensive experience in the areas of M&A, restructuring, listing, business operation, compliance, channel management, use of insurance capital and fintech. She has led her team to complete many outstanding projects in this field and has a deep understanding of the business operation and regulatory systems of finance and insurance.
