In November 2021, the first ALB China Regional Law Awards 2021: The Coastal Areas were held in Guangzhou. JunHe won the East Coastal China Law Firm of the Year – Non-local, Free-Trade Zone Law Firm of the Year: The Coastal Areas, and Employment Law Firm of the Year: The Coastal Areas – Non-local. JunHe also won all three deal awards: Deal of the Year: The Coastal Areas, Equity Market Deal of the Year: The Coastal Areas, and Energy & Resources Deal of the Year: The Coastal Areas. Huang Xiaoli, a partner based in our Guangzhou office, won the Woman Lawyer of the Year: The Coastal Areas - Non-local. The first ALB China Regional Law Awards: The Coastal Areas focused on 11 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China's coastal regions, including Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province, Shanghai, Zhejiang Province, Guangdong Province and Hainan Province, in order to recognize and promote the top law firms, corporate legal teams and individuals within China's regional legal services market, and to encourage more legal teams and practitioners to make outstanding contributions in the field.
The first awards attracted nominations from nearly 100 law firms and corporate legal teams that have achieved outstanding results in the coastal legal services market, covering 25 award-winning legal practice areas. JunHe LLP was nominated for 20 awards for its outstanding performance throughout 2021.
