Ms. Gao Siyu has extensive experience in cross-border M&As, private equity investment and general corporate matters. She advises multinational corporations, private equity funds and renowned enterprises on complex transactions, with a focus on high-growth industries such as technology and media, healthcare, consumer goods and fintech. Ms. Gao excels in cross-border structural design, regulatory coordination and the negotiation of core transaction documents, demonstrating a precise ability to translate business logic into robust legal structures. 

Ms. Gao has received recognition from authoritative international ranking agencies for two consecutive years. She was included in the 2026 Legal 500 China list as a Leading Lawyer in China Private Equity: Foreign Firms and was included in the 2025 Legal 500 Asia Pacific Greater China list as a Leading Lawyer in China Private Equity: Foreign Firms. 

Prior to joining JunHe, Ms. Gao practiced at a leading international law firm and another leading domestic law firm. 

Recent representative M&As and private equity transactions involving Ms. Gao include CPE and Restaurant Brands International’s establishment of a joint venture for Burger King’s China operations and Ocumension Therapeutics’ major asset acquisition from Alcon.  She was involved in Jamieson Wellness’s strategic cooperation with DCP Capital, Bain Capital’s carve-out acquisition of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma from Mitsubishi Chemical Group and Nikon’s acquisition of all issued membership interests in RED.com. Ms. Gao was also involved in Toppan Holdings’ acquisition of Sonoco’s packaging business, Alibaba’s acquisition of Ele.me, Ant Group’s 33% newly issued equity subscription by Alibaba and Ant’s establishment of an investment advisory joint venture in China.
