Ms. Xin (Lea) Liu joined JunHe’s Shanghai office in 2015. She advises multinational companies on their foreign direct investments, joint ventures and M&A transactions in China. She recently represented the listed Chinese pharmaceutical company Leadman (300289) in acquiring the equity interest in a Sino-foreign joint venture from its German joint venture partner, represented the leading Chinese motor manufacturer Wolong Group (600580) in setting up a Sino-foreign joint venture in Shangyu with German global enterprise ZF Group, and represented the Swedish Sandvik Group in its acquisition of all shares from its Chinese partner in its Sino-foreign joint venture. Ms. Liu has provided legal services in the outbound direct investments (ODI) of Chinese investors in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. She recently represented a Chinese pharmaceutical company in acquiring equity interest in a Spanish anti-allergy business and represented a Chinese investor selling its shares in the US listed company SiriusPoint Ltd. (NYSE: SPNT).

Ms. Liu also advises multinational companies on their day-to-day legal issues in the new energy, chemical, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors and has vast experience in compliance and investigation.

Before joining JunHe, Ms. Liu worked for four years at the German law and accounting firm Peters, Schoenberger & Partner in Munich.
