Mr. Ye joined JunHe in 2007 and is a Partner in the Shanghai office. His practice focuses on dispute resolution, intellectual property, and bankruptcy restructuring. He is particularly recognized for his extensive experience in foreign-related litigation and arbitration, the cross-border recognition and enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards, and corporate crisis management.
Prior to joining JunHe, Mr. Ye worked at a major central state-owned enterprise (SOE) and another leading "Red Circle" law firm in China. Since joining the firm, he has leveraged rigorous legal analysis and innovative legal strategies to successfully handle numerous high-profile cases with significant domestic and international impact. His representative matters include the Danone-Wahaha joint venture dispute, a Hong Kong arbitration between GE and a major energy company, the recognition and enforcement of a French court judgment in China, a charter party dispute involving Costa Cruises, a trade secret infringement action for IBM, and creditor debt recovery in the Sanlu bankruptcy. Beyond his casework, Mr. Ye's practical experience has actively contributed to the advancement of cross-border enforcement legislation in China and the development of corporate trade secret compliance and protection frameworks.
Mr. Ye serves as external general counsel to numerous prominent domestic and multinational corporations, providing ongoing legal support encompassing day-to-day legal advisory, intellectual property protection, crisis management, and dispute resolution. Mr. Ye holds an LL.M. in U.S. Law from Washington University in St. Louis, an LL.M. in Civil and Commercial Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, and an LL.B. in International Economic Law from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
