Ms. Zhuang graduated from the Department of Law of Peking University in 1994 with a bachelor of laws. After graduation, she worked as an in-house counsel for Wall’s (China) Co., Ltd. through Unilever’s campus recruiting. In 1995, she joined the Commerce & Finance Law Office and began to practice as a lawyer. In 2002, she joined JunHe and became a partner in January 2005.
Ms. Zhuang has been engaging mainly in securities financing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate business, intellectual property rights and foreign investment. Ms. Zhuang has provided legal services to clients in different industries, including pharmaceuticals and pesticides, manufacturing, food and beverage, energy, infrastructure, banking, securities, real estate, hotels, media and press business, IT industry and other fields. Ms. Zhuang has assisted scores of companies in their stock issuance and financing by listing on the stock market as well as M&A business both inside and outside of China. She has provided quality legal services for reorganization, restructuring and mergers of many domestic and state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.
Meanwhile, Ms. Zhuang has also provided legal services to clients in such aspects as intellectual property rights, foreign investment, real estate and technology imports, and participated in the work for protection and anti-infringement of intellectual rights of many well-known multi-national corporations in China, including mainly the technological cooperation project between Nippon Paper Industries and Shouguang Liben Paper Co., Ltd, joint venture project between Taiwan Yulon Motor Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Moto Corporation, technology imports project of Beijing Gehua CATV Network Co., LTD. to French Canal+ Technologic, and anti-infringement protection of Coca Cola, as well as trademark registration and transfer for enterprises both within and outside China.
