JunHe Assisted Huazhu Hotel Group in its Offshore Issuance of Convertible Bonds

Lately, Huazhu Hotel Group (NASDAQ Stock Code: HTHT) issued US $500 million offshore convertible bonds, which may be converted into ADS of Huazhu Hotel Group. JunHe, as the PRC legal counsel to Huazhu Hotel Group, advised on the issuance structure, use of funds, filing of foreign debts, transaction documents and offering circular involved in this project, and conducted legal due diligence and issued legal opinions. 


Huazhu Hotel Group is a globally leading multi-brand hotel group, operating more than 6,000 hotels across 16 countries under a number of well-known hotel brands, including Joya, Steigenberger, Blossom Hill, Novotel, Mercure, Crystal Orange, Ji, Starway, Ibis, and Hanting. 


The leading partners of this project are LI, Qi (Adam) and YU, Yongqiang (YY), and the undertaking partner is LEI, Tianxiao.
