Asian Legal Business, an authoritative publication on the law profession in the region, released its 2018 ALB IP Rankings in May 2018. Continuing the strong results it has consistently attained over the last 8 years, the JunHe IP team once again performed outstandingly well, maintaining a Tier 1 ranking for patent services and Tier 2 for trademark/copyright.
Comprising some of the world’s most highly regarded legal experts in the areas of patent and trademark, JunHe IP’s practice is a key element of the firm. JunHe was recently awarded the prestigious title of “China Law Firm of the Year 2018 for Patent Prosecution” by MIP, a market-leading guide for the IP sector.
Based in locations including Silicon Valley, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, our patent team’s partners all have an international education background and are well-acquainted with patent legal practice in China, the U.S., Japan, Europe and other countries. Among our partners, there are people with fluency in English, Japanese, Dutch, Korean and other languages.
Partners of JunHe trademark team also have extensive professional experience, most of them with 20 years or more in the field. With many of them having previously worked in official authorities in China, such as the Trademark Office, the China Trademark Review and Adjudication Board, the IP Tribunal of the People’s Court, they bring to their respective roles a broader perspective on trademark registration and protection. Three partners of JunHe’s trademark team, Ms. XU, Chumeng (Jessica), Mr. SUN, Tao, have for consecutive years received gold or silver ranking in the highly regarded World Trademark Review’s listing.
More generally, our IP team has been well recognized by the media over the years. JunHe has consistently been awarded Tier 2 ranking for IP: Litigation from Chambers Asia Pacific, the leading business legal rating agency. In Chambers Asia-Pacific 2017 guide, it was reported that the JunHe IP team “is committed to trademark and patent cases, and is recommended for its comprehensive dispute and non-dispute practice” and that the team “not only provides advice from a legal perspective, but also earns reputation from ‘its ability to cooperate with clients’ business strategies.’”
