This is the second time that Ms. CHEN, Wei has been named on China Business Law Journal’s A-List of China’s Top 100 Lawyers. Ms. Chen’s main areas of practice are corporate and M&A, private equity investment and financial management. She has also made great achievements in capital markets and the listing of enterprises at home and abroad. Ms. Chen was one of the first lawyers in China to engage in information infrastructure investment and M&As and has witnessed the incredible rise of China’s information technology industry. With more than twenty years’ practice, she has been involved in areas such as telecommunications and high-tech, information infrastructure (data centers, satellite communications, network resources, etc.), energy, finance and life sciences. Ms. Chen has advised many well-known multinational corporations, domestic enterprises, and domestic and foreign private equity and M&A funds on their financing, construction and operations and has provided them with leading professional legal services. Catherine MIAO, Partner
Practice Area: Special Situations/Opportunity Investment, Corporate and M&A, Real Estate and Construction
Ms. Catherine MIAO has outstanding knowledge and expertise in the fields of finance, special situation/opportunity investment, the disposal of non-performing assets, and M&As. She is an expert in the restructuring of enterprises in difficulties, foreign investment, corporate and M&A, real estate and other legal services, and has rich business experience.
Ms. Miao serves as legal counsel for many large state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, international investment banks, overseas PE funds, multinational companies and real estate developers. She excels in complex and difficult non-litigation projects and has successfully handled multiple innovative legal matters without precedence in China. Ms. Miao has won many honors such as being named one of ALB China’s Top 15 Female Lawyers and one of ALB China’s Top 15 M&A Lawyers. She was named an outstanding lawyer in “Corporate/Commercial: East Coast (Guangdong)”by Chambers, a recommended lawyer in the fields of "Bankruptcy and Restructuring" and "Real Estate and Construction" by Legal 500 Asia Pacific and the “Business Achievement Award” issued by the Guangzhou Lawyers Association.
QI, Da (David), Partner
Practice Area: Dispute Resolution, Compliance, Competition Law
In the area of commercial litigation and arbitration, Mr. QI, Da (David)’s practice covers areas such as anti-unfair competition, shareholding disputes, international trade, product liability, real estate, construction, and white-collar crime. He has assisted clients in administrative and criminal procedures related to trade secret protection, anti-commercial bribery, and false advertising. Mr. Qi is also very active in the compliance and regulatory fields and has advised international and domestic enterprises on compliance issues, including commercial bribery, antitrust, advertising and data protection. He has assisted several large multinational companies in responding to governmental investigations relating to commercial bribery, antitrust and marketing promotions and has also helped draft and consolidate these companies’ internal compliance policies. Mr. Qi is currently an arbitrator at the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (also known as the Shanghai International Arbitration Center). He is on the Shanghai List of Legal Talent for Foreign-related Legal Matters and in 2020 was recognized as a Rising Star by China Business Law Journal. Mr. Qi has also been named an Outstanding Lawyer by a large, renowned legal public interest group.
YU, Yongqiang (YY) Partner

Mr. Yu has been at JunHe for over 20 years and is currently a partner in JunHe’s Beijing office. He is a member of JunHe’s Management Committee and has been involved in and lead several onshore and offshore investment and financing projects. These include enterprise restructuring, domestic and overseas listing, onshore and offshore bond issuance, investment and financing, and other cases of significant influence. He is listed on the Department of Justice for legal experts regarding foreign-related matters and is in the IFLR Hall of Fame. Mr. Yu has a keen business vision and has been recommended by Chambers, The Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Asialaw Profile as an outstanding lawyer for many consecutive years. He has extensive experience in coping with challenges and helping enterprises strategize. Projects led by him have won China Business Law Journal’s Outstanding Transaction of the Year Award and ALB’s Transaction of the Year Award, and he has been named the Best Transaction Lawyer of the Year for many consecutive years. Mr. Yu is an expert member of the Registration Meeting of NAFMII, a legal expert and mediator on the Legal Committee of NAFMII, and an extramural academic advisor at China University of Political Science and Law.
ZHANG, Ying, Partner

With over 20 years’ experience, Ms. Zhang has advised several large state-owned enterprises, PE funds, multi-national corporations, and listed companies, and has been involved in a number of cross-border M&A deals (both inbound and outbound), PE investment projects and other corporate business. She has experience in fields such as real estate, advanced manufacturing, big health, high-tech and finance in various industrial sectors. Ms. Zhang excels in dealing with complex, difficult and cutting-edge commercial transactions and fully understands the substance of commercial transactions.
