Ms. Jie Zhang joined JunHe in 2013 and is based in our Shanghai office. Ms. Zhang specializes in dispute resolution and has abundant experience in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, enforcement/cross-border enforcement (working with overseas judicial receivers and liquidators), as well as pharmaceutical clinical trial-related cases and criminal and civil overlapping cases.
Ms. Zhang has successfully handled complex cases in the PRC courts and arbitration commissions, including disputes concerning corporate governance, corporate control, valuation adjustment mechanism-related agreements, fiduciary duty and distribution-related agreements as well as following enforcement-related matters. She is skilled at designing dispute resolution plans that protect her client's interests.
Ms. Zhang was seconded to a global top 500 company and handled legal matters relating to the company's daily operations. She has an in-depth understanding of the internal operating mechanisms and commercial needs of clients in the process of seeking legal services, and seeks win-win solutions to achieve her clients' commercial goals. Ms. Zhang also advises a host of pharmaceutical companies in their daily operations in China, including providing legal advice regarding pharmaceutical clinical trials and medical disputes.
Ms. Zhang is also adept at handling criminal and civil overlapping cases. She advises on compensation, victim-offender reconciliation, property attachment, criminal enforcement and other matters and recovers financial losses for her clients in a timely manner. In addition, she has represented many clients in "white-collar” crimes and provided clients with professional compliance advice and countermeasures in internal investigations, criminal reporting and criminal defenses.
