Professional Experience

Ms Yun Qi joined JunHe in 2010. Previously she worked at Shanghai’s Fu Xuanhie law firm, where she specialized in litigation and commercial practice in the fields of culture, sport and entertainment. 


Ms Qi has gained extensive experience in the area of copyright and entertainment law. She provides long term legal services for many leading entertainment and media companies in China such as Tencent, Migu, SMG Pictures, Sohu, Wanda, BesTV and SIFF and is familiar with the importation, production, distribution and licensing of films, TV series and TV shows.  She has provided legal services for many well-known films, including drafting co-production agreements, distribution agreements and merchandising rights license agreements. 


Ms Qi is adept at designing and implementing protection plans and strategies for intangible assets  such as copyright, trademark and franchise rights, and assisting her  clients to negotiate in areas  such as sponsorship agreements, licensing rights, broadcasting and advertising.
