Stephen Wozencroft Senior Counsel

Professional Experience

Stephen Wozencroft joined JunHe in 2010 and is a Senior Counsel based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. He is co-head of the firm’s Hong Kong corporate practice group. He practises in the area of M&A, private equity/venture capital investment, joint ventures and other strategic alliances, equity capital markets and Hong Kong regulatory and compliance issues. He has particular experience advising multinational companies on their investments and activities in Hong Kong and China.


He qualified as a solicitor in England with Freshfields in 1986 and was based in Japan between 1988 and 1991 before returning to London. He moved to Hong Kong at the end of 1995 as a partner in Wilde Sapte (now part of Dentons) and was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1996. Prior to joining JunHe, he was co-managing partner of the Hong Kong law licensed affiliate of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.

Mr. Wozencroft was educated in England at Shrewsbury School and University of Cambridge (Downing College) (M.A. (1982) and LL.M (1983)).
