JunHe recently partnered with StarRoute Fintech Holdings Limited (StarRoute Technology), a global one-stop Web5 wealth technology platform, to jointly assist Canadian mining resource group Midas Gold Resources (Midas) and project co-initiator AnchorV Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (AnchorV) launch Hong Kong's first RWA (Real World Asset) product based on Canadian gold mines. This collaboration marks a significant breakthrough in the digitization of physical assets in Hong Kong's capital market.

StarRoute Technology served as the core technical support provider and was involved in key aspects such as the product architecture design, smart contract development, data penetration mechanism construction, compliance issuance process design, and the global distribution channel integration, providing comprehensive technical assurance for the smooth progress of the project. It provides professional investors and institutional clients in the Web2 and Web3 ecosystems with more diversified asset allocation options. According to the plan, this project will be limited to qualified professional investors in Hong Kong and will adopt a multi-chain deployment model. Future plans include gradual integration into the compliance trading and distribution systems of overseas markets such as Hong Kong and Singapore, further broadening the sources of international liquidity.

JunHe was responsible for the legal services related to the issuance of the tokenized notes in this project. The team covered core content such as the compliance architecture design and the drafting and improvement of the legal documents and they were committed to promoting the compliant issuance of products under the existing regulatory framework. JunHe provided solid legal support for the continuous and stable advancement of the project with professional, rigorous and efficient service standards.

StarRoute Technology stated: "This project introduced Canadian underlying assets and related corporate collaboration in Hong Kong for the first time. It fully demonstrates our leading position in the overseas RWA track and is an important exploration in the digital transformation of traditional asset investment and distribution channels. We will continue to break the boundaries between Web2 and Web3, inject new digital vitality into traditional assets, and strive to create an innovative, compliant and efficient gold investment channel for investors in Asia, Europe and the Middle East".

Midas commented: "This collaboration integrates the revenue rights of Canadian gold mines with blockchain technology, opening up a new path for mining financing. This is not only the starting point for model innovation but also lays a solid foundation for us to expand gold asset business in Hong Kong and layout overseas gold sales and storage markets, effectively attracting global investors' attention".
