JunHe Assists Dalian Bank Shanghai Branch in Establishing an Overseas Deposit Certificate Program

Recently, JunHe assisted Dalian Bank Shanghai Branch in establishing a USD1 billion overseas deposit certificate program.


Dalian Bank is a significant subsidiary of China Orient Asset Management Co., Ltd., and was founded in 1998 with a registered capital of RMB 7.55 billion. It has  branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenyang, Dandong and Yingkou, as well as a head office business department and ten management sub-branches in the Dalian area. Currently, the bank has a total of 158 business outlets and nearly 5,000 employees and in the July 2024 edition of the British magazine The Banker, Dalian Bank ranked 286th among the world's top 1,000 banks.


JunHe served as the domestic legal advisor for the arranger and dealer in this project. They participated throughout the legal due diligence, the internal decision-making procedures, the domestic regulatory approval procedures, the transaction document review and the issuance of legal opinions. Ultimately, JunHe assisted Dalian Bank Shanghai Branch in successfully establishing the USD 1 billion overseas deposit certificate. JunHe's consistently rigorous and efficient work style and its meticulous and dedicated service attitude earned the client's affirmation and trust.
