JunHe Assists CR Bldg Materials Tech and its Subsidiaries in Achieving ISO 37301:2021 and GB/T 35770-2022 Certification

On August 30, 2024, JunHe assisted China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Limited (stock code: 1313.HK, hereinafter referred to as “CR Bldg Materials Tech”) and its wholly-owned subsidiaries China Resources Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Runfeng Trade & Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Companies”) in receiving ISO 37301:2021 and GB/T 35770-2022 compliance management system certifications from the China Quality Certification Center (CQC).


CR Bldg Materials Tech is a Hong Kong-listed company in the state-owned China Resources Group and supplies cement, clinker and concrete in Southern China. It is ranked fifth in the 2024 “Comprehensive Strength Ranking of Listed Cement Companies in China” and 13th in the 2023 “China’s Top 100 ESG Listed Companies” by the China Cement Association. It is included in 11 indices: the Hang Seng Composite Index, the Hang Seng China-Affiliated Corporations Index, the Hang Seng China High Dividend Yield Index, the Hang Seng Composite Industry Index (Properties & Construction), the Hang Seng Composite MidCap Index, the Hang Seng Composite LargeCap & MidCap Index, the Hang Seng Large-Mid Cap (Investable) Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Greater Bay Area Index, the Hang Seng China Central SOEs Index, and the Hang Seng Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect Greater Bay Area Composite Index. The company supplies basic, structural and functional building materials as well as new materials in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Shanxi, Hong Kong, Hunan, Hubei, Shandong, Chongqing and Shaanxi.


The Companies’ compliance management has been recognized by the authoritative certification body. This will enhance the Companies’ reputation and competitiveness and demonstrates to the regulators and business partners their commitment to compliance management. It will improve their standardized management and create a sound compliance ecology.


JunHe acted as the compliance counsel to the Companies. They assisted in conducting surveys on their compliance management status, identifying and analyzing compliance obligations and risks, formulating the compliance manual, and making a compliance certification plan. We helped identify risks and improve risk control measures in safety and environmental protection, product quality, sales, investment, bidding, procurement and other certification areas. JunHe’s team  carried out internal audits and management reviews before implementing the standards and provided compliance guidance throughout the certification process.
