On September 19, 2019, the China Law & Practice Awards 2019 were held in Beijing, where JunHe won four major awards in the following categories:
China Law & Practice is a widely recognized legal journal, and in association with The American Lawyer, annually selects the top deals, outstanding lawyers and best law firms across China in key practice areas. JunHe also received nine nominations across various areas, including the Equity Securities Deals of The Year (Xiaomi Corp.’s Hong Kong IPO), the M&A Deals of The Year (iKang Healthcare), the TMT Deals of The Year (Xiaomi Corp.’s Hong Kong IPO), the Investment Funds Firms of The Year, and the Labor and Employment Firms of The Year.

Yung Yung Janet Hui is a partner in JunHe’s Hong Kong office, and resides permanently in Beijing. She is mainly engaged in the areas of anti-trust, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and foreign investment. Janet has won many legal awards, is highly recognized by the media and trusted by her clients. She has been recognized as the top lawyer in competition law/anti-trust by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2019, and was recognized as the leading lawyer in competition law/anti-trust by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Asialaw Profiles in 2019. Both IFLR1000 and Asialaw Profiles also recognized her as a leading lawyer in the areas of corporate and M&As. The acquisition by Marriott International Inc. (“Marriott”) of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.
