Mr. Tiejun Shi’s legal practice focuses in the areas of companies, securities, investments, intellectual property, litigation and arbitration. He has experience in many high-tech industries such as telecommunications, networks, computers and biochemistry. He also has knowledge across various infrastructures such as mineral resources, power plants and highways, as well as banking, insurance, securities, metallurgy, manufacturing, agriculture, chemicals and real estate. Mr. Tiejun has assisted dozens of companies in their issuance of H shares, A shares, red chips and domestic and overseas GEM stocks. He has also provided comprehensive legal services for the restructuring, reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and other investments of many domestic and foreign enterprises.
Prior to joining JunHe, Mr. Shi worked at the Jiangsu branch of the People’s Bank of China. He was responsible for the management of financial institutions, insurance affairs, securities market and interest rates and deposits. Mr. Shi joined JunHe at the end of 1993 and participated in the establishment of the Shanghai branch of JunHe in 1994. He participated in a large number of local legal services in JunHe’s Shanghai office, such as banking and financing, foreign investment in infrastructure construction and M&As.
Mr. Shi has been a counsel of CMAA since 2004, the deputy director of the Merger and Reorganization Legal Affairs Specialized Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association since 2005, and was also a counsel of CSRC GEM’s listing committee for two consecutive years. He attained the title “National Excellent Lawyer 2008-2010” and “Excellent Lawyer of Beijing 2009-2011”. The British authoritative lawyer rating agency Chambers & Partners has listed Mr. Shi as a well-known lawyer in the areas of corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions for many years.
