Mr. Zhang joined JunHe in 2011 and is based in our Beijing office. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, including M&A, reorganization, private equity/venture capital, foreign direct investment, outbound investment, compliance investigation and antitrust, etc. Mr. Zhang has extensive experience across a wide spectrum of industrial sectors including mineral resources, aviation, education, agriculture and animal husbandry, rail transit and retail. 

Mr. Zhang advises many prestigious clients including multinational corporations, government industry funds, investment institutions and financial institutions on their investments in China, from market entry, incorporation of a local presence, business permits and application, to the legal and regulatory matters that arise in connection with corporate management, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, financing and the operation of their business activities in China. He also advises many Chinese clients who wish to expand their business offshore, through establishing local entities or M&As with local firms. 

Mr. Zhang has participated in the editing of the 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016 editions of the China chapters of the MULTILAW books on global media, advertising and entertainment law.

Mr. Zhang is a lecturer at the China University of Geosciences for Mining Advanced Class (TCM), and is the mentor at Mainland China Legal Internship Programme for Hong Kong Youths for four consecutive years from 2016 to 2019.
