Joining JunHe in 2004, Ms. Chen has significant experience in the areas of corporate, M&A, PE/VC investment, Internet/TMT (technology, media and telecom), financial services and life sciences.
Ms. Chen has represented many multinational companies, private equity funds and China State-owned enterprises in a variety of industries including telecom/Internet, media, financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, medical device, aviation, energy, mining, automobile, real estate and manufacturing.
Ms. Chen has handled a great deal of high-profile and complex projects and provides services in the course of due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents and closing. Ms. Chen’s structure design and drafting strength as well as good business sense make her services valuable to her clients.
Ms. Chen has established herself as an innovative attorney while serving clients in challenging projects. She was creative and diligent in guiding a multinational company to smoothly and successfully close a share deal in China in RMB currency in mid-2011, when the relevant regulations were confused as they had only been recently established. Successfully led JunHe’s first national security review filing case and consistently follow the regulation and supervision movement, Ms. Chen has been actively involved in many transactions containing a national security review component since the related China regime was established in 2011.
