Mr. Wu joined JunHe in March 2007, and is based in our Shanghai office. Previously, he worked in the Foreign Service Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. From 2000 through 2007, he practiced with King & Wood PRC Lawyers (Shanghai office), as an associate and, later, as a litigation/arbitration partner, dealing with numerous litigation and arbitration cases and acquiring abundant practicing experience.
Since joining JunHe, he has provided legal service in the area of litigation and arbitration. He is particularly experienced in assisting clients in dealing with all aspects of complicated commercial disputes and administrative investigations.
Mr. Wu also practiced as an attorney at law in criminal cases allegedly involving inter alia, securities, corporate senior officers, IP infringement, reputation right, privacy right, commercial bribery and commercial encroachment.
In the area of corporate compliance, he has participated in dozens of complianceinvestigating cases, carrying out investigations on company policies, decision-making, the conduct of senior managers and employees on the behalf of onshore and offshore investors and managers, locating risks, providing countermeasures as well as helping clients deal with various issues. Mr. Wu has gathered great experience in the compliance construction domain, and his clients include financial institutions, state-owned corporations, non-state owned enterprises, joint ventures, corporative corporations and WOFEs.
Mr. Wu was awarded the Outstanding Individual of the Judicial System of Xuhui District in 2013 and was also named in the China Top 15 Litigators of Asian Legal Business in 2014.
