Mr. Zou has extensive experience in many areas relating to litigation and arbitration proceedings in China. He has successfully represented many multi-national companies in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, product liability and international trade. He also has experience in compliance investigation, white-collar crime and FCPA issues. The cases he handled were awarded as "Top 10 Foreign-Related IP Cases of Recent Years" as selected by the Beijing 1st Intermediate Court and "Top 50 IP Cases of China 2010" as selected by the Supreme Court.
Prior to 1994, he was an assistant professor at China University of Political Science and Law. Over this period, he taught intellectual property law and conducted substantial legal research relating to corporate, foreign investment and commercial law.
From July 1999 to July 2000, Mr. Zou studied English law at the University of London, SOAS and worked at Linklaters & Alliance as an apprentice (stagiaire) and a member of the Practical Training Scheme for Young Chinese Lawyers sponsored by The English Law Society.
